How to Leave Comments
The NGH Convention Blog wants to hear from YOU! And to leave comments you must be a registered user of this blog. It’s simple, and it is a step you only have to do once.
So here’s what to do: On this page of the blog, look to the right hand column to the the items listed as “Register” and “Log In” under the heading “Meta“
Click the link to Register as a user of the NGH Convention Blog; remember, you will only have to register one time.
Next, you will see a WordPress screen. (picture below). If you have already registered once, simply enter your username and password. If you don’t want to be bothered entering this each time you leave a comment, check the box to “Remember Me” and every time you visit the NGH Convention blog site from the same computer, you will already be logged in.
If you have never registered, you will need to fill in your name and your email address. You will then receive an email with a link that you can use to log into the blog.
The email will arrive from Word Press and you will have been assigned a *ridiculous* password, which you
can change to something easier to remember, after you first log-in.
You will also see (the first time you log in) a page you can complete with information about yourself. This is optional. It is not necessary to provide this information in order to use the NGH Convention Blog.
Does this sound complicated? It’s not! It is much more complicated to write about than it will be for you to do.
After you have registered as an NGH blog user, you can comment as often as you like. You won’t have to jump through these hoops again, just log in and start expressing your opinion.
Leaving Comments on the NGH Convention Blog
At the bottom of each NGH blog post you will see the words, “Filed Under” in small type. To the right of that, will be the Category under which the particular post is listed.
The next thing you will see will either be the words, “No Comments” or the number of comments a post has already received, such as, “1 Comment”. Either way, click the link.
Clicking it will open a window where you can read any previous comments, and YOU CAN LEAVE COMMENTS. Every time you do this, and include your own blog address, you create a backlink to your own blog. You also put your message in front of people, who are already in the habit of reading blogs.
It’s a simple step. But it’s one that will help you build your own blog readership and visibility, while you are exchanging ideas with other NGH Convention bloggers.
